What information we collect
We collect two types of information:
Information you provide. When you submit an enquiry through our website, we collect the personal information you provide — such as your name, email address, and the nature of your enquiry. This information is used to respond to your enquiry and, if you proceed as a client, to arrange and deliver psychological services.
Information collected automatically. Our website uses analytics tools (including Squarespace's built-in analytics) to collect non-identifiable information about how visitors use the site, such as pages visited and time spent on the site. This is collected via cookies and similar technologies and is used to improve the website. It is not linked to any individual. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect your experience of the site.
How we handle your information
Enquiries are initially received and managed via email (Google Workspace). If you proceed as a client, your information is entered into Halaxy, our secure cloud-based practice management platform. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access.
This website is hosted by Squarespace, Inc. (USA). When you submit an enquiry form, Squarespace receives and stores that data on our behalf as part of providing website hosting services. This means your information may be held on servers located outside Australia. Squarespace is bound by its own privacy policy, which can be viewed at squarespace.com/privacy
Enquiry information from people who do not proceed as clients is retained for 12 months and then deleted, including from Squarespace's contact storage and our email records.
We will not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except where necessary to deliver our services, where required by law, or with your consent.
Your rights
You have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to request corrections where necessary. To make a request, or for any privacy-related questions or concerns, please contact us at admin@croftpsychology.com.au
Applicable legislation
This policy is governed by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles, and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW).
