CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY · CROYDON, INNER WEST SYDNEY

Therapy that goes deep.

For people who have always felt more than they let onand have carried it long enough to know something needs to change.

WHO WE’RE FOR

You've tried therapy before.
It helped —
to a point.

You left with something, but not the thing. The patterns came back.

You're not just looking for coping strategies. You want to understand how you got here and why it keeps happening. You want a psychologist who will stay in the harder parts with you — not redirect you or just hand you a worksheet.

You're carrying something you've been carrying a long time, and you're done pretending it's fine.

"What clients tend to notice — often from their first session — is that someone is actually thinking about them. Not just during their session time, but between sessions. That's rarer than it should be. And it changes everything about what we can achieve together."

RECOGNISE YOURSELF?

The people we work best with tend to be like this.

Not clinical categories — descriptions of a kind of person we recognise immediately, and work well with.

i

You've always felt things more deeply than most

The mood in a room. The thing no one said. What someone meant versus what they actually said. You've spent years wondering whether something is wrong with you. There isn't.

ii

You carry things quietly and for a long time

Capable, functional, held together on the outside. You've gotten very good at that. Inside is a different story — there's a gap between who you appear to be and how you actually feel.

iii

You give endlessly and receive very little

You're the dependable one. The person people call. Somewhere your own needs stopped being considered — not dramatically, just gradually, until one day you realised you couldn't remember the last time someone asked how you actually were. And meant it.

iv

Therapy has let you down before

You went. It helped to a point. But you could feel the protocol — the slight impatience when you went somewhere they weren't expecting. The assumptions they made about you that hurt. You're trying again. This time you have a clearer sense as to what you're looking for.

v

You're ready to do the real work

Not just a chat or a vent. Something in you has always known the real work hasn't happened yet. You're ready to do something about it.

Highly personalised

Everyone gets their own, personalised version of therapy. No two people are the same, and so no two people should get the same therapy. Instead, our clinicians take the time to get to know you – your personal circumstances, history, preferences, and goals for therapy – and creates a personalised approach to therapy that is unique to you.

Given the care and attention required to do this, the practice only takes on a few new clients at a time. This can result in longer wait times at the outset, but ultimately results in the best care down the line.

Evidence-based

Our clinicians have extensive training and experience in a wide range of evidence-based therapies, all of which they draw upon in their practice. Their approach is most heavily influenced by the key teachings of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). However, they will always draw on a variety of therapies and strategies to tailor a unique and individualised approach to your treatment.
